hi guys im having trouble downloading the maple global v62 file.i tried the 1st link but,as all of u know,it doesnt work so i tried the 2nd link.but i encountered a problem.everytime after i clicked the download button(after waiting for an eternity 60secs...),an error will pop out saying that apparently,my ip address is downloading another file from the same website.i tried restarting my computer but it doesnt work.any help???=(

Uhh, yeah, I dont seem to get the kiki and kiki.dll file. They're just not in the RAR file. Any tips?

Wicked. Now I have the kiki files, put 'em in the original MS folder, and said yes to all in order to replace the existing files. According to the guide on this site, which I read because I am a noob, I have to click on the Maplestory.exe. So, not the NewbornStory thingie, but the .exe from the original game? Anyway, I did that, and it said that (and i quote) "apparently this version of maplestory is outdated and cannot be patched to the current version. your game client needs to be updated to login to the game. please visit maplestory.nexon.exe to download the latest game client". Yeah.....not so sure if that's the right thing to do. So, before i screw things up, I'ma check with you guys. What should I do? (Oh, btw, this also happens when I click on the Newbornstory thing)

umm... you have to replace the all the files that is in the patch...
if you download the patch file and extract it, u get file such as character.wz, string.wz, item.wz, kiki.dll, wzmss.dll and so on...
you have to replace these things from original folder and put these in...
in the folder there will be original files of those thing and before u put it in, u just take the original files out and
put the patch file in. also the newbornstory thing is for the cap... originally, the cap is only 99k, but if u press the newbornstory thing, you can hit up to 500k. Also if you donate, you can hit more then 500k.
and if you did it right, you shouldnt get the real maplestory things. you will just go straight to the log in thing...
you have to register from the website first though.
also when u did it right and it says like "wzmss.dll cannot be found," you have to download the verdistx86.
you can get this from the guide or the readme section... i hope this will help you...

Make sure your maple version is V.62

and make sure you have a newest patch... with the correct game client

OK, I don't get it. I downloaded the v62 client (official MS). I then downloaded NBS client, and the 29oct update. But still, when I click Newbornstory(player) or Newbornstory(nondonator), it brings up the official MS start screen, receiving an update, then saying that this version of maple is outdated, and cannot be patched. What the hell am I doing wrong?

Did you install the patches correctly? Make sure you only have v.62.... not any other maple versions in the same folder.. try again and delete the nexon folder and re-install

if it brings you ingame to the "official" ms screen then you must have some other version installed.

Make sure you have extracted the NBS client in the V.62 MapleStory folder..

errrr...im confuse right now cuz i have download NBS client and i dun have NewBornStory non-donator....i only have NBS player only...and i dun kiki.dll..i only have wzmss.dll in it....

sorry . it isnt upto date . that is older version. So just replace your v62 file and play by clicking NewBorn player .exe

Like what to do after you download the client? well do you see a NBS client? called player?

Megaupload is fastest have you tried that?

i keep getting KiKi.dll Error. it says to Reinstall, i did 3 times. Same Problem...

make sure you have extracted the WinRar into the NewBornStory folder.
